Scott Thorson is a 25 year veteran of the residential development and homebuilding industries.  From single family to multi-story condominium residential¸Thorson has been involved in all facets of the industry.  Thorson began his real estate career during high school as a carpenter framing houses in the Pittsburgh area for Ryan Homes.  After starting his own business which specialized in framing, siding and large additions for both single family and multi-family residential projects, he attended West Virginia University where he received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Management & Marketing) in 1984.  He then went to work as an Assistant Superintendent for Ryan Homes.

From actual carpentry work, through construction supervision, on-site sales and on to management of entire regions of the country, Scott’s career has been spent in the homebuilding industry.  Scott is quite proud of his path to becoming a homebuilder.  His brothers are, and his father and grandfather before that, have all been homebuilders.  If my father taught me one thing (besides always being on time), it was that quality comes first; Quality in the communities you select, Quality in the homes you build, Quality in the service you provide, and finally, Quality in the attitude of all your managers and employees.  This emphasis provides the best Quality Experience for your homebuyers and must be your number one priority.

Thorson lives in Davidson, NC with his wife, son and daughter.  He is an avid athlete and he, his wife and children own and ride horses often.  They are committed supporters of the Humane Society, The Lance Armstrong Foundation and the newly opened Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC.  Scott is a volunteer medic and firefighter with the Davidson Fire Department.
